The Indian Premier League(IPL) is a professional T-20 cricket league in India contested during March or April and May of every year by eight teams representing eight different cities in India. The league was founded by the BCCI.The IPL is the most-attended cricket league in the world, the IPL became the first sporting event in the world to be broadcast live on YouTube. The league welcomes players from all over the world to participate & to make the tournament more competitive."IPL is the best Domestic Cricket League in the world" states many players arround the world.

But due to this pandemic of COVID-19 worldwide, BCCI is ready to host the IPL 2020 behind closed doors and is working on all possible options to stage the tournament this year, board president Sourav Ganguly has stated in his letter to all affiliated members of the body."The BCCI is working on all possible options to ensure that we are able to stage the IPL this year, even if it means playing the tournament in empty stadiums".

Few things we might miss this IPL :

Fascinating Innaugration

IPL has got everything in it's self, the most fascinating cricket that exists. The innaugration will just be more than a festival in India where many Bollywood stars , International figures will just will be waiting to perform over here.We might miss this beautifull mesmerising event if IPL is behind the closed doors.

Talent Hunt

IPL is a big stage set for young players to showcase their talents and get good exposure from the very experienced player arround the world also, get chance to play for their Nation.Teams scout for talented players who can provide huge changeand become X-Factor for their team in the league and the world is watching these young talented stars who can step up to national teams and shine & break records. We might not have auctions also as there must not be any mass gathering where in many young talents might miss out the chances this year nd might be fr next year also if this pandemic continues extends till 2021 or 2022.

The celebrations of winning, running arround the stadium once you pick up the wicket, or win a battle againt your rivals, just sledging, fighting all these would be missed .The winning team celebrations with the trophy will be missed as many fans are waiting fr their favorite team to win the title .

Bieng a die hard cricket fan i would miss al these if the IPL is behind the Closed Doors, what's your opinioin on this.
