RAFALE FIGHTER JETS IN INDIA
The first batch of Rafale jets landed at the Ambala airbase. The fighter jets had left Russia on 27th July and entered the Indian airspace on July 29th at about 1.30 pm and were greeted by an Indian Navy warship, INS Kolkata, set up in the western Arabian Sea. The Raffles reached their home base, Ambala at around 3.10 pm.

At Ambala, they had been hooured by the Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria. Five French-made fighter jets, which has been expressed as game-changer for Indian Air Force was been involved in the No. 17 Squadron, ‘Golden Arrows’. The fighter jets started from Merignac airbase in the French port city of Bordeaux and almost covered thousands of miles before landing at the Ambala Air Force Base. The Ambala Cantt area has been considered as a ‘no-drone area’ as it is a sensitive zone along with that photography was restricted in that area. Upon this, If anyone tries to oppose these rules, action was been taken against them. Sector 144 CrPC was been enforced in 4 villages closer to Ambala airbase and crowding of people on roofs and photography during landing has been strictly restricted.
Among the five Rafale, three fighter jets are single-seater and the two are twin-seater. Using mid-air rafallers, these beasts were flown by IAF pilots for seven hours. Even though the distance between India and UAE is not that huge, the fighter jets had to maintain some sort of speed to keep up with the restfuller, so it had a stop at Al Dhafra airbase in the United Arab Emirates.
The clash between India-China made our country to import this Rafale. This was done to manage the security of the nation and people. The jet is capable of carrying potent weapons. It has a distinctive motor that has more power for a longer time. It has a target of identifying the enemy target from around 150 kms away even before the target can try to find it. These can carry SCALP cruise missiles which targets from 300 m away.
Section 144 was been charged in Haryana's Ambala ahead of the landing of the much-awaited jets, even as Jodhpur had been kept on standby in case weather conditions in Ambala got to be worsen. The French fabricated Rafale multi-role combat jets enclosed a distance of about 7,000 km and were accompanied by two Sukhoi 30 MKIs after they entered the Indian air space.

The settle of Raffle aircraft in India seals the fact of new era in our Military History. It is one of the multi-spectral capability innovation. The multi-role aircrafts will be going to reform the potential of the IAF. That was the moment the IAF was waiting for. Its an evolution bought by young pilots. It is India’s first major acquisition of planes in 23 years. It is one of the complicated and sophisticated machinery of the upcoming generations. Hoping the Rafale makes all the right works.
