THE BADDEST MAN "MIKE TYSON" : ALL SET TO MAKE A COMEBACK AT 54

Former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is making a comeback to the ring. Tyson will fight Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round exhibition on September 12.Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history when he won the title. But his career became littered with distractions and he hasn’t boxed since 2005 after losing his second straight fight.Tyson (50-6), 54, hasn’t fought since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005, fifteen years ago.

Tyson caught the attention of the boxing world in May this year when he posted a short video of a workout that showed he possesses plenty of the punching power and speed, which qualities had allowed him to become the first heavyweight to hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles.

At 5 feet 11 inches (1.8 metres) tall and weighing about 218 pounds (99 kg), Tyson was short and squat and lacked the classic heavyweight boxer’s appearance, but his surprising quickness and aggressiveness in the ring overwhelmed most of his opponents.Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history when he won the title in 1986 at age 20 and for a time was the most feared fighter in boxing. He was once called the ‘baddest man on the planet’. He was the most famous boxer of his time. He broke PPV records. He was controversy’s favourite child. He had one punch knockout power.Tyson learnt a peekaboo boxing style from D’Amato, with hands held close to his cheeks and a continuous bobbing motion in the boxing ring that made his defense almost impenetrable.

Tyson will meet four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round exhibition match.Jones, 51, won titles in the middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight before moving up to win the heavyweight title in 2003, becoming the first former middleweight champion to do so in 106 years.

On his Legends Only League website, Tyson announced the bout against Jones, a 51-year-old fighter. “It’s just going to be amazing,” Tyson said.

It's our pleasure to watch our childhood heros back at the ring, let's all wait for the biggest event happening after the pandemic COVID-19 and let's all hope for a good match between these legends. Can't wait for the day...Remember the date Sept. 12.
